Whenever they get tired...When do squirrels sleep?

Generally I am in bed by 10pm if I have to go to work the next day, but I am up late on the weekend and just being a bit squirrelly...go figure!

At night, unless they are flying squirrels, they sleep during the day.

At night, since they're are more nightime predators to contend with. Owls, pine martens, and all those other animals that hunt at night.

They sleep in trees during the day also..Maybe more of a nap


but none the less...Ive seen them. Also no kidding a few weeks back i saw one in a tree(And Get This)it was eating a candy bar wrapper and all!!!!
When ever they run out of nuts to crack.
