It's easier than trying to describe the barks, grunts, chattering and other sounds they make.What noises do squirrels make?
They kind of sound like a cross between a rat and a bird. They chitter, and kind of chirp and can kind of yell/whistle
They make a clicking/chittering kind of noise, and sometimes the wild ones throw things at intruders lol.
I rehabilitated one and if a babby squirll gets attacked it starts skweeking like a bird.
